Since our founding, we had refined gold and silver by grinding ore excavated from mines throughout Japan using the cyanide process. With the passage of time, we stopped refining ore, switched from raw materials to precious metal scraps such as electronic components and silver halide film, and focused our business on metal recovery (recycling).

We moved our refinery plant to Tokyo in 2005, and since then we have taken advantage of our proximity to Japan's largest metropolitan mines to specialize (as of 2014) in recycled raw materials generated completely in Japan—such as industrial scrap—and to produce pure Japanese gold and platinum for consumers of precious metals all over the world, focusing on jewelry goods produced in Tokyo and throughout Japan.

Tokyo Plant

We use solvent extraction facilities for gold, our main focus in production. We continue to optimize our operations by using the fastest refining technologies in the world and refinery facilities that produce a maximum of 1,000 kg of gold and 50 kg of platinum per month.

We have built a network that thoroughly collects and recycles all products created during work processes. We continue our research and development activities so that we will be able to handle new recycling materials, while contributing to environmental preservation through such means as reducing waste.

Acid Recovery

We mainly take jewellery and dissolve them in aquaregalis to extract gold, platinum, and palladium.
The precious metals are separated and recovered from the liquid by utilizing their unique properties.
Gold is recovered efficiently by utilizing our newly developed solvent extraction method.
After recovering the precious metals, the liquidis neutralized and the slime is sold as valuable resource.

Platinum and Palladium

In addition to gold and silver, jewellery contains platinum and palladium.
In our Platinum and Palladium Division, we recover such precious metals through a very specific method, and refine them to a purity level of over 99.95%. Furthermore, we are continuously conducting research and development on methods to process (into sheets, powder and other forms) the refined platinum and palladium in accordance with the various applications.

Solvent Extraction

Normally electrolyzation method is used to refine gold,but this requires a high concentration of gold to exist in the electrolytic solution, and this method also requires much time. The Solvent Extraction Division combines a specially formulated organic solvent with an extraction facility that realizes a much more effective and efficient refinement method than the electrolyzation method. Furthermore, we continue our research and development efforts to establish similar break-throughs in the processing of platinum and palladium.


Electrodeposited silver is obtained by electrolyzing the silver anode in the Moebious electrolysis tank (99.99% electrolytic gold). At our plant, we have acquired a JIS Classification Type 1 Silver Ground Metal Label qualification for silver, and we are continuing our efforts for stable quality control. Gold is also refined into electrodeposited gold through electrolyzation, and we mold them into 1kg ingots (99.99% electrolytic gold). To produce there source for gold evaporation used in the electronics industry, high purity gold (99.999% target) is refined.
